Crossing the sea from Okinawa to Kyoto, this exhibition brings together yachimun pottery from kilns and artists across the island — including Nakijin, Yomitan, Kitanakagusuku, Naha, Nanjo, Taketomi, and Iriomote. From established traditional kilns to emerging makers, the show presents the varied character of ceramics shaped by each distinct locale.
