A solo exhibition of white porcelain and celadon works made from porcelain clay sourced from Amakusa and Arita Izumiyama. Hirota is committed to local materials, including ash from Isunoки trees and locally quarried stone, and the works emerge from a life shared between farming and pottery. A key feature is the beautiful firing achieved through a downdraft single kiln.
