An exhibition of works by glass artist Kohei Komaki. The pieces embody the fluctuations and chance occurrences of the making process. Textures that include impurities and fine air bubbles reflect his interest in antiques, and in recent years his work has been guided by an awareness akin to calligraphy moved by the wind. The works hold together the momentary and the enduring, the light and the powerful. The artist will be present on the opening day.
