A solo exhibition by Hanayo at Taka Ishii Gallery Kyoto. Marking 30 years since her debut solo show in 1996, this fifth exhibition focuses on video and sculptural works inspired by the legend of "Hakugazan," associated with Yatacho in Shimogyo Ward, Kyoto, alongside calligraphy, dance, and photographic sculpture works housed within "boxes." An in-conversation event with Frieze Magazine editor-in-chief Andrew Durbin will also be held on the opening day (reservation required).
