A solo exhibition by Yonezawa Hoki Kobo, a workshop that has carried on the 'Matsumoto Broom' tradition — passed down for roughly 160 years since the late Edo period — across three generations. The brooms on display are made entirely by hand, from cultivating the broomcorn to the finished product. Kazunobu Yonezawa, the third-generation craftsman, will be in attendance on June 10, 11, and 13 to assist with fit adjustments and repairs. The show also introduces brooms paired with handles crafted by woodworker Yamani.
