A solo exhibition by Ippo Shimomoto, a charcoal maker and bamboo craft artist. On display are everyday bamboo items and tools with a distinctive color developed through smoking in a charcoal kiln in Kochi Prefecture. The show is expected to include nearly all of his more than 70 works, including new pieces. The artist will be present on Sunday the 13th.
