A solo exhibition by ceramic artist Kenta Anzai. His distinctive black surfaces are achieved by coating wheel-thrown forms with a black clay mixed with lacquer, then repeatedly firing and polishing them. Built around the theme of "nesting," the show presents works designed to fit inside one another in a sequence of diminishing forms, inviting visitors to experience a quiet order and the beauty of black repeating inward.
