Now in its ninth edition, this exhibition introduces ceramic artists from the two celebrated production centers of Kasama and Mashiko. Participating artists include Higashi Kobayashi of Hitsuji-gama and Akio Nukaga of N.Ceramic Studio from Kasama, and Tomoo Hamada of Hamada-gama from Mashiko. Held in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the birth of the Mingei (Folk Craft) movement, the exhibition highlights the work of leading makers from both regions today.
