A solo exhibition by Naoshi Maeno, who works from his Namahatake Sarayama kiln in Kyoto. The works on display emerge from an uncompromising process: Maeno digs his own raw materials, splits his own firewood, and fires his pieces in an anagama kiln he built himself. The exhibition introduces a body of work shaped by deep respect and ongoing inquiry into the ceramics of the past.
