Born in Azumino, Nagano Prefecture in 1988. After studying ceramics and metal design at Joshibi University of Art and Design Junior College, she honed her skills at the Tajimi City Porcelain Design Institute and the Kanazawa Utatsuyama Craft Workshop, before establishing her studio in Nanto City, Toyama Prefecture. She applies "mocha ware," a technique originating in 19th-century Britain, to create delicate, dendrite-like patterns formed by dropping liquid onto unfired porcelain clay. She has received numerous awards, including the Judges' Prize at the Itami International Craft Exhibition.
