A ceramic artist from Ureshino City, Saga Prefecture. After graduating from the Japanese Painting course in the Faculty of Arts at Sojo University, he completed the Saga Prefectural Arita Ceramics College. He works at the Taniho-gama kiln (Yoshida, Ureshino-cho, Ureshino City), where his father Yusuke Miyazaki serves as the kiln master. Emphasizing the raw quality of clay and the character of the firing process, he creates distinctive ceramics that are rich in color and playful spirit. He has been selected for the Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition and the Western Japan Traditional Crafts Exhibition, and has received the Saga Prefecture Arts and Culture Development Fund Award.
