A solo exhibition by Osaka-born ceramicist Naoko Shimizu. After studying ceramics at Kyoto Seika University, she established her own studio in Kameoka. Her work is distinguished by a unique painting style informed by her study of Nihonga (Japanese painting), with pieces featuring soft cobalt blue underglaze and delicate overglaze enamel decoration. The artist plans to be in attendance all day on the 4th (opening day) and for part of the day on the 5th.
