A solo exhibition by ceramic artist Kei Wakao, held at Tōsei Kyoto Gallery. Born as the eldest son of Toshisada Wakao — a leading master of nezumi-shino ware — Kei was drawn to celadon after encountering it at the National Palace Museum in Taipei, and has since devoted himself to glaze research. The exhibition presents works in which dynamic, sculptural forms resonate with a rich range of glazes, including celadon, ivory, and rice-white. The show focuses primarily on tea bowls and flower vases.
