The first solo exhibition at Hakata Hankyu by Kana Imatsu, who was born in Osaka and is based in Itoshima. Working in slipware — a technique in which liquid clay is applied to the surface of a vessel — Imatsu draws on British tradition while developing her own palette, forms, and free-flowing lines to create charming, expressive pieces. The exhibition showcases vessels that bring the rustic warmth of clay and a richness of color to the table.
