An exhibition by two artists who work with different materials — clay and wood — each finding their own path toward original form. Atsushi Funakushi creates refined vessels that receive and hold the softness and subtle movement of clay, while Taketo Ichikawa produces spare, resonant forms that draw out the vitality of wood. The two distinct worlds of ceramics and woodwork meet in a single space.
