An exhibition of works from the "Crust" series by Okinawa-based ceramic artist Manabu Akamine. The pieces make a striking impression through the unexpected contrast between their cracked, textured surfaces and smooth white touch. On display are vases and jar-shaped sculptural objects made from porcelain clay, characterized by a serene clarity and graceful forms. This is Akamine's first exhibition at doinel.
