An exhibition of works by Marie Sugihara, who creates her ceramics in close dialogue with the earth in Kanazawa. The show brings together vessels dressed in pale, gentle tones reminiscent of morning light and soft shadow. The flow of glazes, the subtle variations of the firing, and the happy accidents of the kiln lend each piece its own quiet landscape. These are vessels that complement food and bring warmth to everyday life.
