An exhibition showcasing vessels by Michiichi Sakai, fired in a wood-burning kiln. The lineup includes plentiful Oribe pieces full of warmth, rustic kohiki ware, sunny mimosa ash glaze pieces, and chic yet powerful manganese-glazed works — all sturdy, comfortable to use, and suited for both Japanese and Western dining tables every day. The artist will be in attendance on the opening day (October 31).
