An exhibition and sale celebrating the beauty of everyday life as nurtured by regional traditions across Japan. A concurrent display, "Ryukyu Mingei: The Okinawan Beauty Encountered by Soetsu Yanagi," is also presented. The event brings together a wide range of handcrafted work including straw crafts, ceramics, basho-fu (banana-fiber cloth), stone-carved shisa, bamboo baskets, ironware, and woodwork. Talks and workshops are also scheduled.
