Held concurrently with the Shōsōin Exhibition in Nara. The show features elegantly detailed painted ceramics, including deer plates adorned with the "lacquer hu-shaped bottle" motif from the Shōsōin Exhibition poster, and pieces inspired by a mother-of-pearl-backed mirror in which turquoise is rendered in delicate blue pointillism. Works are available for purchase in person and online during the exhibition period. Open 11am–7pm; closed November 2 and 4.
