An exhibition of works by Hiroki Onishi, a ceramicist who carries on the Akahada-yaki tradition at Kouhaku-gama, a kiln with a long family history in Yamato-Koriyama. The show features a rich range of works—from unglazed fired pieces to Nara-e paintings and pieces employing a variety of glazes—all of which honor the expressive depth unique to Akahada-yaki while fitting naturally into contemporary life.
